Kunafa with Creamy Mango Filling

- 400g kunafa dough
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 liter of mango juice
- 3 cups of whipped cream
- 1 kilo of mango, cut into small cubes


1. Heat the oven to 180°C.

2. In a large bowl, mix the kunafa dough, sugar and melted butter until evenly distributed.

3. Press the mixture evenly into a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

4. When the baked kunafa dough has cooled, chop it into small pieces and put a thin layer of it in the bottom of a glass dish or glass bowl.

5. Pour some mango juice over the chopped kunafa layer to moisten it evenly.

6. Then put a layer of whipped cream over the mango juice.

7. Spread some mango pieces over the baked kunafa layer.

8. Repeat the process of layering chopped kunafa, mango juice, whipped cream and mango pieces until all ingredients are used and the mold is full.

9. Finish by pouring the last layer of whipped cream over the top surface, with some mango pieces on top.

10. Cover the mold with plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.

11. Serve the cold mango kunafa bowl as a delicious and refreshing dessert.
